Jaguar Land Rover

Jaguar Land Rover designs and manufactures luxury cars under the Jaguar brand and high-end SUVs under the Land Rover brand. Key competitors include premium brands Aston Martin, Bentley, Maserati, BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and Jeep. JLR has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Motors Ltd since 2008 following the sale by Ford. While the company is expanding globally, Europe (ex Russia and UK) remains the company's biggest market (23% of FY17 retail sales) followed by China (21%), the UK (21%) and North America (20%). SUVs under the Land Rover brand include four Range Rover (RR) models (RR, RR Sport, RR Velar and RR Evoque) as well as the Discovery, Discovery Sport and Defender. Jaguar brand models include three sedans (XE, XF, XJ), as well as the F-Type sports car, F-Pace SUV and upcoming I-Pace and E-Pace. (23 Aug 2017)
